This is the great depression 2.0 or depression of 2008. We are now 12 months in a complete financial disaster and any governmental action is pretty useless. Why they do not just let market collapse and save us from inflation occuring later on?

Markets are completely out of control. Current upticks in the markets are driven by speculation and the irreal hope that governments could save free markets by socialism.
Oil prices might rise further. Some say its speculation to take out the fear, but there are some fundamentals like money growth which can explain the current and future prices of oil.
My predictions on the timing of financial collapse came actually true. Now wealth protection becomes difficult. Where and when will the next bomb in the markets drop?

The Paulson plan did come under a lot of scrutiny by many people. Well, it will not help the american economy to survive, but it will provide a soft crash, rather than a stillstand

The coming weeks will change the world dramatically. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley vanishing as investment banks, the Paulson plan and the short squeeze, due to accessing the capital rights by selectively preventing shortselling will have a price.
