7.20 PM - The band comes on stage and starts jamming a track... Everyone's grooving, but John Schlitt is yet to be seen..... Then, suddenly, he takes the stage. What a response from the audience!
It's a single message - we're here to see you, Mr. John Schlitt, and no one else!!!
A coupla songs mighta passed, between The Grafting and Creed, not sure.
Anyways, John announced that they're gonna do a song from Beyond Belief and the crowd went wild with shouts of "Beyond Belief" .... But John was like, " No. .... no .... no...." and I kept screaming "Creed" .... He finally heard me. Looked pretty disappointed, though....
The much awaited song, Jekyll and Hyde, from Petra's 2003 album, Jekyll and Hyde. It was much-awaited by the fans at the Chennai John Schlitt concert, and I guess it's much awaited now, here on YouTube.
The guitaring was again, different from Hartman's (slightly)... But I thought it was brilliant, nevertheless.
The lights and stage before the show actually started. We could see a few members of the band moving around, but no proper lights, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, no John Schlitt
This is in the afternoon of May 17th, 2008, at around 3.45 PM. The band is doing their sound check and setup of equipment... John was nowhere to be seen.
I don't blame him - it was sweltering hot.
A video remembering the cool pals (Khathee, Lenu, Mangai, Mouls, Paul D, Sasi and me) from Anita Methodist School, Chennai. The presentation is set to the song "Seasons in the Sun" by Westlife. That was our song back in tenth... :)
The photos aren't great... The video is not bad, though. But its the memories which count. And those are simply AWEsome... :)
The video promoting Earth Hour.
Turn off all powered devices for an hour - at 8 PM on March 29th. We'll save quite a bit of energy.

Finally, the band performed the fan favourite - Beyond Belief.
I was skeptical of this one being played, cos I feel none can compare to Hartman.... But it was much better than expected. I was happy to see that!
