HI, I know this has been posted before, but I did a really quick check of others' versions, and this one seemed a bit different-- and longer...
I hope I didn't duplicate anyone elses efforts. As always, Enjoy !
(2nd attempt...first was wrong tune, my bad..)
Jason and Marty shred it up. One of my tops of all time (If you're a musician-- listen to it all before you judge, it will impress you..)
...As found years ago on the 'Information Super-Hiway'...I hope you enjoy it. (High bitrate for sound purposes, video is so-so, like I said, 'as found' )
It's Paul Gilbert, what more is to be said?! I tried Amazon.com to give everyone a link to buy this but I only saw a region 2 (non US/Canada) DVD for sale. I'm sure it's out there though! Enjoy.
Music video from Paul's tune 'Individually Twisted'. It's just a fun tune with some jammin' , and the animation reminds me of the old Dire Straits video. Enjoy.
Here's Paul giving kudos to, and then jammin' with, his uncle Jimi. I'm sure many of us have done basement jams but I guess this is what it's like when you're good and have decent A/V equipment. Enjoy.
Marty plays his song Triumph. I know a previous version was Thunder March, and there is a third version, but I can't find it... From what I remember, this is a tribute to his friend Jason Becker. Can anyone help me with the Thunder March or other version I don't have? This song is a bit slow and slow to develop unless you've heard the others. Thanks for any help
Cartoons before PC ! IIRC, this is a takeoff of F-Troop. Well, at least the white guys (rats, foxes, wolverines..whatever the hell they are supposed to be..!) don't end up victorious.
This is a low res version of this vid I got right after 9/11. It's just cool video of high tech 'diplomacy by other means'.. More/better stuff can be found at his site, grouchymedia.com
Check out the aircraft hitting the sound barrier at about 1:14 . Enjoy
(Song is 'Bodies' by Drowning Pool.)
This is from Paul's video '11,000 Notes', live from South Korea. If the vidoe quality ain't so great it's because my source wasn't really HQ.. This starts out as a kinda pop-ish, yet catchy and funny song, and then he goes all Gilbert on yer ass! Enjoy.
From his 'Introduction' CD-- the shredder becomes the composer...Can anyone help with the Japanese to English translation of the lady's words in this song? Thanks, Enjoy !
I've had this forever.. from some guys in Australia.. It is one of those 'so stupid it's great' kinda things. See if your not singing ' I am the wuh-uh-un' when it's over. Have fun. Enjoy.
This is for Peter, a.k.a. geriatric1927 here on YouTube. I still suck at Movie Maker, but I tried to thank him and let him know he's connecting people of all ages from all over the world. Enjoy ! And, Thanks Peter !!
Rik being Rik... This ain't even metal and I love it.. Rik crosses boundaries like that. A true maestro of the strings and voice. This is another off his 1993 'Swing Shift'
Tony, along with Branford Marsalis, play a game of back and forth jams. This would be catagorized as just damned cool. Just a fun tune overall. From Tony's album 'Madness'- 1993
Here's Rik proving not only his guitar god status, which everyone already knows, but also his killer singing and lyrical word-smithing. From 1993 'Swing Shift.'
